Berkeley Heights Public Library Membership Types
A. Berkeley Heights Resident Card
Qualifications: lives permanently in B.H. or owns property in B.H.
Privileges: borrow from BHPL collection; ability to place reserves on eligible BHPL materials; inter-library loan; borrowing at MUF and MURAL libraries
Expires: every three years for adult cards. Juvenile and youth card expiration is based on grade level.
B. Courtesy Card
Qualifications: works in B.H. and lives elsewhere or temporarily living and working in B.H. Anyone living in a town with which BHPL has a reciprocal borrowing agreement (MUF or MURAL) is expected to use their home library card.
Privileges: borrow from BHPL collection;
Expires: annually
C. Student Card
Qualifications: attending BHPL schools and living elsewhere. Any student living in a town with which BHPL has a reciprocal borrowing agreement (MUF or MURAL) is expected to use their home library card.
Privileges: borrow from BHPL collection;
Expires: school year (September – June)
D. Purchased Berkeley Heights Card
Qualifications: can be purchased annually for individual use.
Privileges: borrow B.H. materials; ability to place reserves on eligible BHPL materials
Expires: annually
